I am so very sorry for the loss of Castor.

The lady with green hair was able to round up the usual suspects.

I had a pet red-ear turtle when I was a kid. They were legal then. Speedy was only a couple of inches long and faster than you would think a turtle could move on land. But s:he was happiest in the 10 gallon aquarium when my mother was between fish.

When the science teacher I used to work with won a giant millipede at a convention, I think I earned his admiration because when he showed her to me, I held out my hands to hold her. She was only about 6 or 7 inches long and cute as can be.

I wouldn’t mind, but I’d be afraid for his lifespan with Database in the house.

Hugs, purrs, boops, and even a squeeze in remembrance of Pandora, to you and both of your boys.

  9. 8 days ago on Breaking Cat News

Pandora was all those things. I could let her out of her box and she would happily crawl all over me and give me gentle squeezes. Cleaning was easy: check for droppings (not many of those) and replace the bedding every couple of weeks. At over 4 feet long, she was certainly big enough not to step on, not that I put her on the floor or out on the grass very often.

I still miss Pandora. She was not only non-venomous, she was so old that she had lost all her teeth and couldn’t harm you by biting. Gum you a little, but not harm. I haven’t found another snake yet.
