   Everyone knew Elly wouldn’t be able to resist a cute puppy. It’s a done deal.

   I must admit it’s getting harder and harder for me to enjoy reading this strip. I loved the older version so much because it paralled so many events of my own life. I always wanted to know what going to happen next. The strip, as it is now, is quickly getting stale and I find myself no longer looking forward to the next day’s strip. Please bring back the old strip.

   If Lyn wants to show the kids growing up, bring the characters back to the old strip. It’s nice go back to the past once in a while. But I’m beginning to feel like an old person - constantly reminiscing about the past and having no future to look forward to.

   Let me guess… Michael is giving Elizabeth a banana because she’s making monkey noises. Today’s strip took me a while to figure out.

   With the Michael and Elizabeth so young, April isn’t part of the Patterson family yet. Would you consider aging the family a few years so April can be included? At least up to the point before Farley dies saving April from drowning in the river. I can still remember reading that series of strips like it was only yesterday.

   I really miss the other FBFW strips. I can relate to so many of their life stories.
