   Is this already part of retcon? That she lied to Norm about her interest and called a fandom that she pretended to belong to silly? That would have been a pretty big turnoff for me back when I was dating.

   I’d also suggest leading by example. Since their birth – let them watch you eating your veggies and tell them that once they are a little bit older, they will be allowed to eat veggies, too.
