   They could have made the first of May the Earth Day holiday. I guess they didn’t because it is also International Workers Day in many countries. The Morris dance they do in England on May Day was once called the Moorish Dance. The British movie “The Wicker Man” from 1973 shows a lot of old British pagan stuff. It was Christopher Lee’s favorite of his movies.

   Pollen is extremely high in Virginia. Bad for allergy sufferers like me.

    My folks cut up their own beef. My dad would ground up some for hamburger in an old manual grinder that attached to the table with a clamp. I have it now. They made things to really last back then.
