   I did not claim that. The premise is that the economy is going so great because of the current President. In reality, it isn’t. Inflation is now going UP again.

   I’m saying that an insane cost of living, massive inflation over the past two years, increasing inflation, and stagnant wages are crushing people. The exact opposite of what the current administration is telling us is happening.

   Alberta: Yes. That response that shut down the schools and commerce was ill advised.

   I was still in a far better financial situation then than I am now. Much of the rebound began in the last several months of the Trump administration.

   We also did not have insane inflation rates, there was no war in Ukraine or Gaza – at least one of which would have likely not occurred. Insane rates of interest.

   Never mind several million ILLEGAL aliens now flooding into this nation (conveniently not yours) costing billions upon billions to care for them -- though none of our politicians of either stripe could seem to find money to care for our own citizenry.

   Yes, I and my family, and the lives of many that I know were financially far better off than they are now.

   Many of us do. And it’s not good. Real inflation is about 8% (if inclusive of gas and housing like it used to be), credit card debt is ballooning, mortgage foreclosures are up 11% year over year, people behind in car payments and repossessions were up 29% in 2023 v. 2022.

   Yup. The data is there for all to see, and very, very easy to find.
