Hubby’s mom’s house had Brown Recluse spiders. This was north of Athens, Alabama. They don’t make webs, they hide in the day and hunt at night.

Hubby put out some glue traps all around the A/C vents each night and there was at least 1 caught each morning.

I’m thinking a set of “Christmas Lights” for a tiny tree, with Tommybaums about 1 1/2 – 2 inches tall and at least 15 or so on the string.

Our vet doctor x-rayed her and thought she’d eaten a piece of cloth that had plugged her up somewhere in there. When they opened her up to get it out, Dr. Grant saw her entire intestine was blown up like a balloon.

A few days ago, a fairly “large” (about 3/4 inch from nose to backside) spider decided to investigate the flea trap near my bed. (White “cereal” bowl 3/4 full of soapy water, sitting under a nightlight attached to the inside and bottom of a wire basket. This is so the cats won’t drink the soapy water.)

Over time, we have acquired many Party Mix (kinda squar-ish) containers. We’ll buy the 16, 22 or larger bags of dry cat food and, once they are opened, the entire bag is poured into those containers. Then those are stacked on the kitchen shelf / pantry unit. 2 containers will fill 3 or 4 plates and 3 of the plates get placed outside, 1 in the sun room and 1 or 2 more in the house. (Sun room has a cat door that stays “open” but the sliding glass door is closed up at night to keep kittens in and the raccoons out!)

This set up seems to keep the food fresh enough for their taste.

I was thinking that that bag was just for breakfast.

Today, our Bridget decided to gift us with a Very Dry Leaf and a Very Dry (poop length) Stick! I had to give her Much Praise as the mighty huntress she (thinks she) is!

I wish it was that simple for us. Our Bridget can’t eat dry food, not even dry treats. She’ll throw it up within a half hour. She had a major issue with her intestines filled with gas and nothing able to get in there.

She wants to be fed wet canned (pâté is preferred) at least 4 times a day. She also gets some probiotic powder mixed into her food about once a day.

Since cats (and some dogs) hold a grudge, she’d better give a Metric Bonkers Worth of chin scritches and Lovin’ Baby Talk when she gets back!
