    Ah, election year fearmongering.

Of course, Judge Aileen Connor is making sure of that. And if Trump is not convicted, then why did Supreme court even pick up immunity case? If Trump done nothing, then let all the court cases proceed for everyone to see the facts. Lastly, Trump does not even deny the wrong doings. All he is claiming that he has immunity from wrong doings. So there you have the guilty admission.

Lastly, Republicans have created a deadlock. Trump should not be impeached by Congress because courts did not find him guilty, and then courts cannot judge him because only Congress could do it. Awesome way to have your cake and eat it too.

US Supreme court is hearing if President has immunity from unlawful actions. Given the arguments from Trump’s team, the case should not even be on the docket. The justices seem to be leaning towards granting Trump immunity for treasonous actions. If they do give immunity or somehow derail the case against Trump, then future Presidents would have no checks to prevent criminal activities. The kid is going to grow into autocracy, and not democracy.

I’m always impressed by the amount of detail in Ramirez’s drawing. He must be putting lot of effort into his daily cartoons.

Would the posters blaming the Democrats actually offer a solution? Would you like to point out a Republican president that brought down the debt?

  7. 5 days ago on Gary Varvel

By the time the kid grows up, there won’t be a democracy left thanks to the Supreme court.

Hello. Look up the chart at:

    www dot eia dot gov/energyexplained/oil-and-petroleum-products/

Oil imports are at an all-time low and production is at an all-time high. US imports are highest from Canda and not OPEC. Also, US was never energy independent. Could you point out when it was energy independent last?

US imports oil because of price and also type of oil. US refineries are geared towards heavy crude oil instead of light crude produced domestically.
