Logos are iconic due to their brands such as Nike with its swish logo and slogan of Just Do It (that’d be Kip’s brand but he’ll need to change the logo and the slogan). B & T is trying to characterize personality brands and of course there’s a blank canvas where Luann is concerned. They tried to start with the wrong girl. A lot of people refer Jennifer Aniston as a bland actress so maybe Luann could be a Jennifer Aniston brand. She’s an everyday and ordinary and friendly girl who everyone likes and isn’t fussy or picky about stuff. Perhaps rather the Rachel brand.
Being unbrandable makes Luann unique so in itself makes her interesting. Congrats, Karen, on that front. You’ve succeeded in branding her. The Fluid Brand. Any ideas for names to Brand in that regard is welcome!
Relax. This is just a comic strip. I’m not judgmental type. I grew up an only child and a lot of people assumed I was lonely. I was actually not. I knew how to keep myself occupied and had many interests and did not need people to keep me company. I also loved to read. Assumptions is a human trait based on the individual’s experiences and perceptions. That will never change no matter how many people object to it. We’ll always presume to know others based on a total of experience, perceptions, familial values, individual values, struggles, successes, rejections, biases, etc.
If you read the arc about Piro’s home situation you’d know he is. Tiff always has had a lonely life hence why she was always an attention seeker in high school. She’s not anymore however if you missed her video chats with her dad you’d know she begged him to come home or meet somewhere for a vacation. I’m not being judgmental- just factual. They could use some help to feel better about themselves, to focus on themselves.
