I have been a published cartoonist in Australia for over 35 years. Now I have a new comic strip, BUSHY TALES, which I am very excited about. I hope you will enjoy it, too! Please let me know what you think. www.bushytales.com www.facebook.com/BushyTalesComicStrip

I would just like to say a BIG “thank you” to all you wonderful TEN CATS readers. One of the greatest thrills I have had over these past 6 years on GoComics (with BUSHY TALES) has been to get to follow TEN CATS and to get to know, meet and collaborate with Graham Harrop! This has truly been a thrill and a blessing! And, as an added bonus, many of you TEN CATS lovers have also become great followers of BUSHY TALES, and for that I thank you sincerely.I look forward to keeping in touch with many of you through my little newsletter and, maybe, even in the pages of your local newspaper sometime! Many thanks and God bless you heaps!

Just to clarify…the “Bright Eyes” newsletter is NOT a daily email with a BUSHY TALES strip. It is an actual newsletter that includes a number of BT strips as well as several other features, hopefully of interest! It is NOT sent out on a daily basis but, rather, every couple of weeks. Sorry if I have given a misleading impression to anyone. Cheers!

It is being sent from “brighteyes@bushytales.com” email address. It is being produced and sent from the Constant Contact service. I am still learning about the features of this service…I do not know if it shows when a person is double-subscribed. I am sorry that you are having this problem, Jay.

That is strange, Jay. The newsletter is being sent out via Constant Contact. I have checked that your details were correctly recorded (and they were). The newsletter I re-sent yesterday to the new subscribers was the most recent one (#2) and the CC reporting stats show that it was successfully delivered, but that your email address showed up as an “unopened”. All I can suggest at this stage is to check your spam folder. The new edition of Bright Eyes will be sent out early next week (hopefully, Monday). Please do let me know if you receive it.

My apologies if the above note is a bit repetitious this week. I just wanted to make sure everyone got the news before the strip disappeared. Thanks for all your kind comments, too.

Yes, JP…the second issue was sent out quite a while ago. The third issue will be going out early next week.

The newsletter showed up fine, images and all, to my address. I haven’t heard from anyone else, yet, who may have similar problems. Hopefully, it is something easily fixed.

I am not sure why the images do not show…I thought that going through Constant Contact all such problems would be alleviated. I will look into it for sure.It is not the end for BUSHY TALES….it still appears in some newspapers and will continue to be featured on the website, of course. My interest in starting up this little newsletter was, in actual fact, to provide an opportunity for fans of BT to continue to enjoy it. Anyone wanting to sign up for it can do so here: https://www.bushytales.com/bright-eyes-newsletter
