Good morning y’all! Tomatoes and lettuce grow just fine! If only we could grow our own bacon!

It’s ok to eat zucchini…they’ll just grow another one!

Even plants depend on the organisms in the soil for their food. Living means eating.

Good morning y’all. We left behind over 30 years of gardening when we downsized and moved to a lakeshore a few years ago. Wish I didn’t know that the new owners tore out my garden and replaced it with grass. It was so beautiful, I still dream about it. But we love waterfront living, and gardening continues. It’s great being close to our kids and grandchildren.

Thistles have lovely purple flowers, but my favorite weeds are mulleins, with those soft velvety leaves. Good morning y’all.

I’m the grandma who makes good food for the grandkids 2-3 nights a week. And yes, my grandma made good food for me too!

Cecropia moths are gorgeous! Good morning y’all

I’m sure most women also have a few “oldies but goodies” in their closets. Those heavy 100% cotton hoodies are so cozy on a chilly morning!

Some doctors handwriting is so sloppy it makes me wonder how anyone can read it.

Maybe we just can’t hear them? I’m sure some of the hosta in my garden must be asking “why didn’t you plant me in a warmer spot?”
