BTW, There’s an Army ammunitions plant in Radford, VA that makes nitroglycerin as one of its products. They have a pretty good safety record, but I remember back in 1985 that there was a bad accident involving an 5,000 pound batch of nitroglycerin exploding and a whole storage building was vaporized. All that was left was a half-acre hole in the ground. A couple of the workers were also killed. One man was blown out of the building, but the other man was never found.
I had fifty-eight years of holding on to my hubby and the last four without him. I tell my friends whose husbands are still living, “hold him close and hold him tight!” Still miss him every day.
My hubby and I were married 58 years and he died four years ago. I miss his hugs so much. I tell my friends who still have their spouses to “hold them close, and hug them often” while they still can.
Then there’s the master brake cylinder. Not good when/if it gos out.
