Why is Billy Joel all of a sudden all over the media? Did he write a memoir or something? I haven’t thought of him in years and this is the third time he’s popped up in two weeks!(Considering that Stephan wrote this strip six months ago, this is quite the feat!)

AMUniversal uploaded a batch of B&W files into the color directory on their FTP server. Unless the re-upload the correct files, you’ll be seeing B&W daily comics (not Sunday) through 12/30. The correct files are on their syndication web server, which is why some outlets have the color versions. (I work for a publication that syndicates through AMUniversal and we spotted this issue a few days ago, then scrambled to get it corrected before we went to press)

Mary Barra, GM CEO, debunked Trickle Down Economics on a CNN interview recently. She was asked why, if her income had gone up 34% over the last three years that the union workers shouldn’t get the same increase. She prevaricated, settling on the fact that her salary was based on performance (implying that if the company doesn’t do well, the employees won’t feel the pain)
