If we sophisticated Americans would just provide disposable slippers for our adult guests all would be fine on our white or silk carpets. For children, I don’t have a recommendation. For our two, we only had oriental rugs in our living room and dining room which were closed off by folding french doors. Rest of the house was wood or tile floors.
Curious: do you dry the water with a paper towel or a hand washcloth? I think the paper would recycle if only water was wiped but maybe the washcloth is better as it can be laundered with other towels. What have you found to work best? C
