   It’s community college. In CA, residents get 2 years of free tuition if registered full time. A lot of students start there and then transfer to one of the 4 year institutions. Luann doesn’t have a lot of expenses. Her parents pay for food, utilities and housing, the state pays her tuition. All she has is her car and incidentals — and her parents may cover that as well. Does she still have a job?

   I had a professor in his 80s — he was one of the best I have had. He was smart, incredibly well-read, loved to teach, and loved to learn. Compare that to the 40 yo who thought he was too cool for anyone in the room, and I’ll take the 80 yo every time.

   OT I named a foster kitten Felicia and my kids were outraged. They claimed I’d ruined any chance of her getting adopted. lol
