    It’s a hot plate. A hot plate uses direct heat from an outlet to charge the plate, producing heat. AKA, a baby stovetop. Also, he has a pot, meaning that there is hot oil in the pot.

    Nate’s process probably was:

    1. Cut potato

    2. Heat hot plate

    3. Put oil on plate

    4. Heat oil

    5. Add cut potato

    6. Fry

    7. French fries Chef’s kiss
