I can’t figure out where anyone stands these days regarding Trump. They say he’s unqualified and unhinged then turn around and say they’ll vote for him. I don’t believe polls since they’ve been way off in the past. I always wonder how truthful people are when they respond.

How many trans athletes are there? I doubt that those that are did the transformation just to compete against women.

Speaking of teaching I saw an article today in the local Eugene, OR. paper. It was about a bear siting in a neighborhood and it was warning people to stay clear and call authorities if they see it. At the end of the article it said there was no indication of what kind of bear it was. Seriously. This writer is so ignorant that she didn’t know that there are only black bears in Oregon. No grizzlies. No polar bears. Just black bears.

No wonder people read so much fake news.

So you think that gas would cost under $1.50 per gallon? On what planet do you live? Trump has one policy. Anything that benefits hm and his fellow wealthy friends is okay.

The loans that are being forgiven have been paid back in many cases but the interest has accrued to the point that they still owe money. That’s what is being forgiven. Not everyone is eligible. From what I read if you’re earning $100,000K or more then you aren’t eligible.

My cousin is a physician and she wasn’t eligible. Even with her good salary the loan took nearly 20 years to pay off.

Actually, it’s the MAGAs that are obsessed with Trump. That’s why he’s in the news all the time. Hard to ignore an ex President that’s on trial since it’s never happened in our history.

Economists consider 2-3% annual inflation to be healthy. It was lower than that for several years following the economic collapse in 2007. It took several years to recover from that. During that time economists were puzzled by the lack of inflation during the growth and recovery. We had artificially low interest rates like 0%. he prices we see now would have been what we would have had if inflation was the normal 2-3% during that long period. People got used to cheap financing and forgot what the norm was like.

People from most other countries are far more likely to know at least some English than we are to know some foreign language. If Americans know a 2nd language it’s likely to be Spanish because of the number of Spanish speaking people in the US and the proximity to Mexico. Many People in South Texas , New Mexico and Arizona speak at least a little Spanish.

Roads are often repaired even when they don’t need it just because the oney is in the budget. If they don’t use it it’s gone. We’ve all seen the road projects with 6 guys standing around watching a guy dig a hole.
