Yes, there was all of that hype surrouding The Mayan Calendar ending that would coincide with Armageddon, but I didn’t believe that for a minute!
They said the same thing about Y2K, if you’re old enough to remember that.
I also heard that the Age Of Aquarius is supposed to be an Age Of Enlightenment; well, I don’t see much enlightenment in mankind so far. Maybe this thing take time, I don’t know.
And there’s still this whole doomsday cult surrounding global warming. “It’s gonna be our demise, but we can still fight it!” What they don’t realize is that it’s a natural cycle! There have been periods in Earth’s history that were far warmer than this, and we weren’t there spewing out all of this CO2 into the atmosphere.
