   Israel existed pretty much where it is now fore the Babylonian Empire. About 1880 Or 626 BCE if second empire. Conquered by them. Conquered by Persian empire about 550 BCE.Then Rome 63BCE. Jews were always in the area even before WWI. Israel did not exist as a nation from the Roman conquest until 1948. Given least time for Jews to be there it is about 2600 years of Jewish presence in the area.

   Ok. Stop funding both sides. No “humanitarian aid” to Gaza which at least some gets sold to buy more weapons.

   For Israel, no military aid. Trouble is, they can create their own.

   Ohio has a law requiring anyone a time limit for candidate certification. The Democratic convention occurs after that date. The law has been in effect for over a year. The Republican led legislature warned both the national and State Democrats about this a while back. There were no excuses for this, except for Democratic incompetence or arrogance. Or perhaps both.

   The Ohio legislature is working to make an exception for the law.

   Still, there is no excuse for this idiocy.

   True, but was didnt know at first. Trouble is, when the facts were found out, instead of backing off, most authorities doubled down instead. Some even boldly flaunted their own rules. Caught twice in one case. I’m looking at you, Gavin Newsome. French laundry restaurant incident for one.

    Agreed. Even a kill shelter is more humane that starving or freezing to death. One of my four rescue dogs was a puppy found on the street starving in February in Indiana I a more northern state.
