If you vote for Nader but you would have voted for Gore if Nader wasn't running, you're really voting for Bush. If I didn't live in a battleground state I'd vote for Nader because it wouldn't matter but I do so it does and I won't. Clearly. If you vote for Buchanan but you would have voted for Bush if Buchanan wasn't running, you're really voting for Gore. I hope Buchanan causes Bush to lose so the GOP moves back to the right in 2004. Good thinking! If you vote for Nader or Buchanan but wouldn't have voted at all if they weren't running, you're really wasting your vote. I can vote for Nader in good conscience since normally my apathy would keep me home. My stupid Buchanan vote cancels your dumb Nader vote. If you vote for Gore or Bush but would have voted for Nader or Buchanan if they had a chance to win, you're really voting against yourself. I think I'm smart, but not likable. I'll vote for anyone but me. Democracy: no one's ever come up with a better system!
