The valiant struggle of president-in-exile Al Gore. This time: usurper! It's just another meeting of the resistance leadership, when a new face appears on state-run television... What the - ? Democrats say John Edwards would be their best candidate in 2004. I am the standard-bearer of the democratic party, not that lightweight carolingian giraudist! How dare he try to depose me?! Gore springs into action. We should release this proof that Bush let 9-11 happen... Never mind that Bush crap! What about Edwards?! The night, they say, is always darkest before the dawn. So it goes in the basement hideaway under Columbia's journalism school. He's cute. I can't believe it - I'm getting hosed because of a bald spot. In the end, fortunately, good triumphs. Analyst agree: Edwards is dull and inarticulate. I rule! No one wonks like you, sir.
