Unfriending Is A Funny Thing On The International Day Of Friendship
by The GoComics TeamFriendship can be beautiful. At its best, it's inherent, elegant and responds proportionately to the effort each person puts into it. In the age of social media, though? HA! Forget it. Friendships are filled with FOMO, annoyance, and spite. Who cares about everybody's awesome vacations? Or their cute new babies? Or which petitions they've signed in the past 45 minutes? Or that new pyramid scheme/cult they can't escape?
Face it, on sites like Facebook the only beautiful thing about friendship is the option to quietly dismiss or outright ditch your 3,000 pseudo-pals once they get on your nerves. That's why, on this, the International Day of Friendship, we celebrate the modern convenience of trimming the fat off your stockpile of frenemies so you can focus on the beings that matter. Like, your pets... maybe? With all these resentment issues, you may want to see a therapist, but only after you read these funny unfriending comics.

Unless you are already friends in real-life with the people on your Facebook, it’s ends up being just a popularity contest. I seen this both ways.

Facebook is like prison. You stare at walls for hours and strangers come along and poke you.
