The Boondocks by Aaron McGruder for May 05, 2013
Bush: Today, we continue to mourn the loss of life from Hurricane Katrina. We also mourn the loss of Mardi Gras. In moments of crisis, Americans have always come together to help one another in their time of need. These heroes are helping to save lives, and they're helping to save one heck of a party. Americans do not quit, whether it's the loss of a home, or the loss of a really, really cool party - we can get through this. Our homes and our loved ones may be gone forever, but as long as there's beads, beer, and public flashing, Mardi Gras will live on. Let's roll!
