I have a little surprise that I wanted to share with my fellow Bozo readers. My lovely wife knows that I have become a big fan of the Bozo cartoon. She will also check over the latest set of strips each day when I pull them up at home and tries to locate Fuzzy as often as she can. We were out having a late dinner and doing a bit of shopping yesterday evening. After everything was brought in, I sat down at my computer desk to check over the latest local news and goings-on. My wife went back out to the garage briefly, and then came back in carrying something that she laid on the corner of my desk. I looked over to see what it was, my jaw hit the floor and then I started grinning like a little kid. Staring back at me was the front cover of “Whistling Down The Halls – The Story Of Foxo Reardon” by our good friend and partner Michael Reardon! I asked my wife where she had located it, and she told me that she knew I was interested in the book and had tracked it down and ordered a copy for me. Michael, let me say that you tell a fascinating story about your father! I sure do wish I could have met him and shaken his hand. I see why you and your family hold your father and his work in such high regard. I haven’t had the opportunity to read through the entire book as of yet, but I did read the front history section and briefly skimmed through the sections with the different sketches and works that he did. I’m now going to tease everyone on these boards and make one comment… so THAT’S what Fuzzy looks like! :^)
