Mom: Well! That's that. I've driven our daughter insane. Dad: What did you do? Mom: I'm not exactly sure. Dad: Maybe you're wrong. Mom: Hoo boy, no! The big picture is clear as a bell! The little details are just all blurry. Which comment put her over the top this time?? Which bit of motherly wisdom made her snap?? I used to see exactly how I made her crazy from anywhere. Now I can only get the specifics in focus by standing at arm's length and looking her right in the eyeball! Dad: Mother: Once, clairvoyant. Now, bifocal-voyant. Mom: I hate growing up.
