I used to work as a merchandiser for American Greetings. I put out the cards and other AG merchandise. Once I had a middle aged man come in and ask for anniversary cards. I showed him where they were and he just grabbed one and took off with it, not bothering to read it. I was so ticked! I wanted to ask him how he’d feel if his wife took the same care with his meals and laundry as he’d taken to find her a card.
