It's the World Series, Charlie Brown!

Once again, player-manager Charlie Brown's sad-sack ball club failed to make the playoffs this season – or even win a game, for that matter (how they manage to keep losing despite Snoopy challenging baseball's home run record remains a mystery to us).
Charlie Brown winding up from the mound may not inspire comparisons to Clayton Kershaw or David Price, but his ability to dust himself off, put his shoes and socks back on, and tolerate the antics of centerfielder Lucy Van Pelt, is an inspiration to baseball fans everywhere.
Best of luck to the Dodgers and Red Sox, and play on, Charlie Brown!
