Jason: Hey! What are you doing?! I was in the middle of a game! Paige: Oops. Sorry. I thought you were done. Jason: Done?! Couldn't you see I was just about to do battle with the red orb guardian?! I just paused it so I could get some more sugar in my bloodstream! This was going to be my 10,000 attempts! I was feeling extra-lucky! I can't believe you reset it! Paige: Who said I reset it? Jason: Then where's the red orb guardian? AAAA! You got past him?! How?! How?! What'd you do?! Paige: Well, let's see... the first time I sneezed, I think I pushed this button... or this one...
…easy to “call it” because these are all classics from Bill Amends’ vault. Jason begs and cajoles Paige for many days worth of comics to tell him how she beat the Red Orb Guardian - promises her the world. In the end, she finally tells him that she simply walked past the Red Orb Guardian without attacking him. Jason is shocked that, perhaps, this video game might be attempting to teach a moral lesson. His comment is something to the effect of “That’s absurd! What next, comic strips?!?”.
