You rejected her" Melodee: "We had 500 applicants, Mrs Degroot" Mom: "And you chose Tiffany Farrell?" Melodee: "Oh, Tiffany wasn't chosen for her talent. She was admitted under our "Supporters" program" Melodee: "An anonymous donor gave a large gift on her behalf" Mom: "Really. Thus the drama in drama camp"
Mom’s being a little rude about Tiffany here. I’d swear we learned just a couple days ago that she saw Tiffany do a great job in the play.
