It’s a gloomy morning around here, cloudy and 54 degrees. In fact it’s going to be cloudy all day with a high of 72.
This should be the last day of work to button up the house and make it hold heat. You see after the old house burned down dad, mom and sister (I was as yet not in this old world) went to stay with my grandfather, and that next summer he started this house. That was 1951, or was it ‘50? Anyway, he worked to build this house and was in a hurry to get it closed in and livable by winter, that meant no time for insulation. Wood and coal fires, maybe kerosine to for heat. By January 3, 1953 they had another mouth to feed. (^.^) As the years past dad put more insulation in the attic which helped with the heat. When they finish up today the house will be tight and much warmer this winter. (^.^)

And that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it. (^.^)
Have a fine day and may God’s hand guild you.
