Rita, I didn’t see your post about the t-storm until this morning. Sounds like quite an experience. I love t-storms, but I think that would have been a bit much even for me.
I got the shirt done! And then discovered it’s way too big. That’s okay, he likes a loose shirt to sleep in and I can easily make it just a bit smaller. The reason it took 3 days is because my lower back really doesn’t like leaning over that table to cut, press, etc. Between that and the fact that the corner of the room where the table is located is sort of a hot spot where the AC doesn’t reach very well, it got to be too much.
Michael & I went over to the clubhouse and rehung some shelves in the storage closet that just got “remediated” for black mold. All of the stuff that had been stored in there was on the floor in the kitchen area so we put it all back in the closet. The place looks great and it took only about an hour, but both of us feel like we’ve been beaten up. The AC had been turned off and it was 97 in there when we started! Oops! I just remembered that I didn’t turn off the AC. I will have to go back and do that.
A bit cooler today: 106, but it’s already over 100.
Good morning, Vagabonds.
