The painters are back to do the trim this morning. This means that the front door has to stay open so I turned off the heater. It’s a bit cool outside, so I guess I’ll find myself a sweater.
The folks across the street from me needed new mailboxes because theirs had been broken into. It took the PO 2 months to decide what to do, and they installed the new ones on my side of the street next to ours. It seems that the concrete pads for the old ones weren’t big enough or thick enough to support the new ones. The neighbors aren’t happy, but the HOA had nothing to do with it. That doesn’t stop the complaints.
50 done, 30 to go. Progress!
Still binge watching “9-1-1”. Every once in a while they set up for and use a line from an old movie. Yesterday’s was from the first “Jurassic Park” movie. (“Clever girl” from when Muldoon was ambushed by a velociraptor only in this case it was a berserk alpaca.) I laugh every time I hear one of them.
Also binge watching “ER” which I had seen back when it was first broadcast. I had forgotten the “soap opera” aspect of that show. Lots of drama and angst. Both shows are good for mostly listening while I am crocheting.
We got our new lamps yesterday and they look great. Assembling them was a PITA, but we got it done.
We’re at 54 outside, heading for 67. Maybe. We didn’t hit yesterday’s forecast and it did rain yesterday afternoon. Not much, though.
Good morning, Vagabonds.
