"There's something about seeing that stupid kid with that blanket that galls me!" Snoopy thinks, as he watches Linus, who is seated on the floor, sucking his thumb and holding his blanket.<br> <br> Snoopy sits and watches. <br> <br> CLOMP! Snoopy swoops past Linus and grabs on to the blanket, dragging Linus with him as he goes.<br> <br> Snoopy grips the blanket with his teeth and sit son the floor, as Linus, holding on, is whirled around above Snoopy's head.<br> <br> Linus tumbles through the air, sending books and furniture flying.<br> <br> Linus lies on the floor with his blanket as Snoopy takes a flying leap towards him.<br> <br> They tumble in the air together.<br> <br> WHAM! Linus lands at the bottom of the stairs, followed by his blanket.<br> <br> "Beat again!" Snoopy thinks. He lies on his back. Linus, dizzy but victorius, drags off his tattered blanket. He announces, "Security, like liberty, has to be won and rewon many times..."<br> <br>
I feel like this whole blanket thing has a whole deep theme under it about security and freedom, but I can’t figure it out…
