"Really?" Lucy asks. She and Frieda are standing in the outfield, wearing baseball gloves and caps.

"Let's go ask him..." They walk.

"Hey, manager! We have a question.." Lucy announces. She stands on the ground behind Charlie Brown, who is on the pitcher's mound.

Lucy stands on the slope of the mound and asks, "We heard that someone said, 'Nice guys don't win ball games.'...Is that true?"

She continues: "Is that why we're always losing, Charlie Brown?" Frieda echoes: "Are we too nice? Is that our trouble? Is that why we lose all our games?"

"Well, I don't know....I...." Charlie Brown considers this. "See? What did I tell you?" Lucy asks as she turns to Frieda and raises her arms.

"I knew we'd never get a straight answer from him." Lucy complains as they walk off. "What a manager! He can't even answer our questions!" Frieda agrees. Charlie Brown stares after them.

Charlie Brown asks, "How can I run a baseball team, and solve moral issues at the same time?"
