   We took in a mother cat one time and she was starving…little more than a kitten herself and trying to take care of 5 kittens…she literally was starving. Needless to say we nursed her back to health and took care of the kittens. However, she got into my husband’s fruit cake and ate most of it…plastic wrapper and all. Never noticed any ill effects.

   You are too sweet Mom…yes I had a wonderful day…dinner at my favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor (a little snowy, but we made it there and home). And then we went shopping in my favorite little book store and got everything I wanted. Thank you for the Happy Birthday song and my niece also put her 3 year old on the phone to sing Happy Birthday to me. :)
