People have been commenting about this comic referencing a show that I’ve never heard of. However, the first thing I thought of when I saw those names was, “Jeremy Fisher is a character in Beatrix Potter!”
I’ve seen this one before, but I never knew until now that the guy lighting the candles was Jim.
Anyway. I loved comparing the two “feed me” pictures. I also love the panel snapshots: “When there’s napping to do around here, I’ll do it.”
I had a little difficulty finding Valette’s name. Maybe it’s easier in the newspapers. Anyhow, the title panel is my favorite, and Garfield’s conversation with Pooky is also sweet. ^_^
I love the sudden appearance of “Grandpa”. “Stow it, sonny. Where’s the refrigerator?’ :-)
Actually, the guy looks kind of like Nermal without plastic surgery.
