   What amazes me is the vitriol spewed about the comment that paying taxes is patriotic. Is it being suggested that tax evasion is patriotic (as opposed to, say, felonious)? If as much time was spent ensuring that tax money was spent wisely and fairly as is spent whining about the fact of taxes, we might be in a better financial position.

   We in Florida passed an equally insidious amendment prohibiting gay marriage. The Baptist (and to a lesser extent Catholic) church was instrumental in authoring & pimping the bill. Since they thumpers have decided to so overtly stick their noses, I say we tax the church! Oh, and etighe, get some help, ‘cause, d@mn, you crazy.
