Shallow, materialistic, self-centered, and lazy. Oh yeah, that’s my dream girl…

Plan to die lonely and alone, Lila.

  2. almost 16 years ago on B.C.

When you can talk the lions and wolves into it, then I’ll consider it.

  3. almost 16 years ago on Calvin and Hobbes

If ‘ifs’ were skifs, we’d all go boating.

Assisted Suicide misses the point. Suicide is supposed to be difficult, this way only the truly desperate and serious will successfully go through with it. If you don’t have the determination to carry it out by yourself, then you shouldn’t be doing it.

Back to the comic: If you are familiar at all with Wiley’s history as a sports coach, the gag hits the mark. If your not, then you’ll probably miss it.

  5. almost 16 years ago on Calvin and Hobbes

This is true of Peanuts, B.C., or any other classic newsprint comic. The story arcs are always contained in the Mon-Sat strips, and the full-color Sunday strips are standalone.

    Worst… Cavemen… Ever.

But you just gotta love ‘em.

Fart? Where do you get that? I’m pretty sure farts don’t go “rumble, rumble”, but a stampede sure does. See the hoofprints all over the ground in the last frame?

  8. about 16 years ago on B.C.

Somebody goofed. It is Thor who is speaking in the first panel.

  9. about 16 years ago on Calvin and Hobbes

*bkharvey says: See Hobbes HAS to be real how else could Calvin get himself up there?*

That’s the same question regularly asked by Calvin’s Mother/Father/Teacher/etc. How do kids manage to get themselves into half the predicaments they get into? The Mystery of Hobbes is the Mystery of 6 year-olds everywhere.

Sorry, but that one came with a hand-delivered, engraved invitation with a little silk bow around it. Worthy of Hart himself, actually. Well done, krusher2.
