Mine was in HS. The school had bought them for me and the school nurse brought them to me while I was sitting at a library table. I put them on an looked at the classmate across from me and exclaimed, “You have freckles!”

Here’s my take on the dialog. Frame six is the worst. I can’t make any sense out of line three. Maybe someone knowledgeable about the “flowing cups” reference can elucidate.

    #1:Marx: What a Talent! What a genius!

#2:Marx: No one does being shot from a chimney like cracked cat. Look at that form!Alan: But he’s stuck up there…

#3:Alan: If we can’t interact with anything, how do we get him down? We can’t even grab a ladder…Marx: A little trick of the trade…

#4:Marx: There’s always one alternate reality at just the right angle to make a little short cut between point A and point B.

#6: War1: Then shall our names familiar in the(?) mouth as(?) household words ??ttle, floo?once and wh?ppip? deadface and ?po bleedo and the mighty metal funter be in their flowing cups freely remember?

#7: War2: And shall we atack their earlobes now go this upon the morn the fight shall make strong men tremble and weak men crumble

    #8: War2: Wh…

    #9: War1: …

John is acting like an jerk. Mike did nothing wrong and in fact has shown civic responsibility for peacefully protesting against a perceived wrong. Whether that perception was right or misplaced is immaterial. The fact remains that Mike acted on something that he believed in. That is more than john can claim. The only thing we’ve seen John believe in is his trains and his sports car.

Visited a farm in New Zealand 10-20 years ago after the anti-tobacco movement had been in full swing. Instead of complaining they had switched from ~30 acre of tobacco to one half acre of flowers (which they shipped to Japan). They made more on the flowers than from the tobacco. Interesting country, BTW.
