   While I appreciate that you feel this way, I have to ask why do we have to bring politics into everything? This is a 30 year old comic strip about coming to terms with their house being broken into and Mom’s gratitude that no one was hurt. There is no mention of Republicans or Democrats, no mention of what the government is going to do to prevent this from happening in the future or how the crime rates are rising. So why? Why do we have to make everything political?

   I really enjoy the onomatopoeia in the second panel. I feel like it gives that sense of impact.
