   Most of the comments are cynical/sarcastic. Some are pure trolling. The problem is that there is a very loud minority in the US that seems to actually believe that bullets solve all problems.

   As for “GQP”, its a conflation of ‘GOP’ and ‘Q=anon’, because of how much a very LOUD wing of the Republican party bases their stances on conspiracies spread through ‘Q’.

   Incorrect.

   There were 2 parts to this decision. The unanimous decision was in favor of the married couple who had bought a parcel of land to build a house, but it turned out to be classified as a wetland because of its proximity to a lake and several creeks. They are now allowed to add fill and build on their property.

   The second decision was a 5-4 decision with Kavanaugh(wha?) voting with the liberal minority to limit the powers of the EPA, directly against the “originalist” philosophy that would have followed the wording of the bills that formed the EPA and the Clean Waters Act.

   Again, there was a unanimous decision to make an exception in one case, but a purely partisan decision to make that exception the basis of the new rules.

   How DARE the conservative majority of the SCOTUS pare back the powers of an agency founded by the greatest Republican of all time, Richard Nixon????

   Yes, the EPA was founded with the signature of Richard M. Nixon. And though I was sarcastic in the last part of that statement, I think I would trust HIM more than any of the current slate of GOP candidates.

   I said PROOF, not BELIEF. And yes, I do know that there isn’t any totally objective proof, any random hallucination just MIGHT be the absolute Word Of God. Or vice versa.
