Before some Trumpist comes back accusing you of opposing your neighbor’s right to vote or preventing him from voting, I will point out that all your neighbor had to do was go home and change his clothes to something non-political.
According to Wikipedia, Hélder Pessoa Câmara (7 February 1909 – 27 August 1999) was a Brazilian Catholic archbishop. A self-identified socialist, he was the Archbishop of Olinda and Recife, serving from 1964 to 1985, during the military dictatorship in Brazil. He was declared a Servant of God (the first step toward being officially named a saint) in 2015.
I like to think that my cousin Francis, who was killed during the WW2 Battle of the Bulge, was one of the original Antifa, under such leaders as Dwight Eisenhower and George Patton. I also like to think I’m carrying on the family tradition by voting against the modern day Fascists.
