Let's see, I have 160 characters to say something about myself... what to say? Do I get personal or be obtuse and clever? Witty or plain? I guess I'll tell abou

Maybe Yenny’s knee wasn’t the first knee to be manipulated by the Goth King… Could Headmistress’ legs be shaking from memory??

  2. about 14 years ago on Barkeater Lake

Chuck’s getting a feeling of what Dolores feels like when he and Banks show up for breakfast with his dad…

And the militia strikes! Love the implication of long-term planning and feints.

I love these little guys!! [[ when they’re in a cartoon, not in my attic… ]]

  4. over 14 years ago on Barkeater Lake

It’s for the deck basement, of course…

  5. over 14 years ago on Barkeater Lake

“how to make ice” must be the sequel to the “how to boil water” cookbook…

She hasn’t learned that in a small town, you don’t talk about anyone to anyone because they are ALL related unless they also moved there from somewhere else, and even then, don’t you say anything…

You design something to be functional.

You then re-design it to be Idiot-Proof.

You then think about Allen when deciding if the “idiot-proof”ing is good enough to protect itself and protect Allen from himself.

At which point you throw up your hands since Allen can out-idiot anything you could put in place…

cpandolph said, about 1 hour ago …More to come tomorrow. I’m working on new comics as I type!

OOooo…. Now that’s talent!! [[ I’ve got this picture in my head of Corey sitting at the computer, typing with one hand and drawing with the other…]]

I can barely chew gum and type at the same time…

    Yeah for Angry Eyebrows!!!

Glad to hear you’ve gotten past the flu and can get back to life again. Best wishes for the new endeavor and I look forward to new stuff!!

    Assuming this isn’t a bacon-flu induced delirium…

YEAH!! (Like a rope thrown to a drowning person…)

(…and we can read ‘em in B&W, you know…just saying…)

bmonk said, 4 minutes ago I don’t either, but what can we do? We aren’t in charge of that decision…

Agreed, and in some ways (fianancial and the changing paper/electronic comic environment) neither was Corey. If you produce a product expecting it to pay for it’s own production and it doesn’t, then the market has made that decision for you.

I’m glad to hear some enthusiasm in Corey’s comments about BL’s going out with a bang! Sounds like he’s come to grips with it ending, and is intending to have fun with it; as should we. I look at it like jumping off a building: I don’t look forward to quick stop at the end, but will certainly enjoy the view along the way!
