   There are tons of jobs in the trades that pay very well. Kids who go into the trades will have a good paying job and no school loan dept.

   In one of my travels to Ireland we did stop in Cong too. We didn’t do the tour or the Museum though. Both my Grandparents on my father’s side immigrated from Ireland. My grandmother from Dingle and my grandfather from Inis Oírr (Inisheer). We took my father back to Inis Oírr to be buried. My grandma’s house I thing looked like the thatched house in the movie. It is in ruins now. I still have many relatives in Ireland though.

   Gee if the sun went out we would have issues. Really I wouldn’t have guessed. Solar power is not as efficient on cloudy days. Why do you think you only see solar farms in arid climates. The cleanest power plant is Nuclear but no one wants them in their back yard.

    This reply is to all of your replies. How much time do spend when your not at home charging your car. I have better things to do with my time than having to wait for the car to be charged. Filling a gas tank takes only a couple of minutes. You don’t have to pray that the charging station is working. Have you ever taken a long road trip with your car. Let me know how that works taking a trip over middle America. Hell there was one politician that just tried a trip from NY to DC and had range anxiety with the EV. Half the chargers weren’t working and the one she did find was not in a good neighbor hood.

    The overall carbon fingerprint of an EV is worse than an internal combustion engine for the lifetime of the car. The battery only lasts so long before you have to replace it. Have you done any homework what they have to do to mine the raw minerals for the batteries? Currently there is no way to recycle a Lithium battery. Where are we going to store all of the bad batteries? I am sure that will be great for the environment too (/Sarcasm). Many people’s houses and other structures have burnt down because of the batteries. Many fire departments do not have the recourses to put out a battery fire

    As for idling in a traffic jam, the battery will drain fast when you are using HVAC. With regular cars you only have to worry about how much fuel you have.
