Yes, it is! Maybe one day I’ll make it up there, but I can’t see me traveling there anytime soon. I still regret missing that night!

I wonder if that’s the same grocery store where they left their credit card a few days ago. If that’s how they treat the cashier, it’s no wonder they didn’t get their card back! It’s a mystery how they ever get the food into their house.

Unless you live in a place like Florida where homeowners insurance is so high that many people are struggling to make their monthly mortgage payments. I’ve heard several homeowners say they will likely have to sell and leave the state or sell and start renting instead because they can’t keep up with the rising cost of insurance down here. For those who own their homes outright, they can risk not carrying insurance (not wise in a state that gets hit with hurricanes!) but those with mortgages have to have insurance regardless of the cost. One article recently said that renting down here is actually cheaper than owning with how things are going. I feel very bad for them because they’re no better off than us renters with the uncertainty of their future.

Agreed! I was at least hoping the connect the dots would lead to a map with which the little kids could use to get underneath a bank’s vault where they could break in and send Cap’n 95% of the take.

There is no bonus text or panel for today that I can find. Since this comic is called “Things I Love – Part 1” maybe he’s waiting until the second part to add the bonus content.

Bonus Text: Still love this song. They played it at our high school graduation

Guess they got her back for extending Veganuary into February!

  9. about 2 months ago on Betty

Why wouldn’t she have served the leftovers before? I get people generally don’t like to eat leftovers the very next day, but she could have served Monday’s leftovers on Wednesday and Tuesday’s leftovers on Friday, etc etc. Now by serving all the leftovers in February, she’s extended the Veganuary into a whole new month. She’s sneaky and manipulative as ever!

    My thoughts exactly, Nachikethass!!!
