   You’ll do fine. I had a 30 year old crown come loose a few months ago. Turned out that the tooth was decaying under the crown and the adjacent tooth was also decayed where it touched tooth#1. No pain, so I put it off as long as I could (did I mention that I REALLY hate dental work?). Last week I finally had both teeth extracted. Kinda uncomfortable because I can’t use ibuprofen or opiates but not unbearable. If I could have taken something to take the edge off I would have been fine. Had to eat soft foods for the first five days (ice cream!!) but that’s okay.

   Bottom line, you’ll do fine I’m sure. Let us know how it went.
