2 years ago the mother board died in my Windows 10 Computer. Bought an ACER Windows 11 computer. Lost many programs, I had no fun trying to get used to the ‘improved’ Win 11 computer. The only permanent thing in life is CHANGE, which is a challenge for 88 year old Banjo Gordy.
My Grandfather’s Banjo Ukulele was the beginning of my decades of playing tenor & 5-string banjos. Still have it, must be very old since I got it in 1949, & it was very old then.
Charlie lived to about 8+ years, & our vet mentioned dog food wasn’t good for a cat.Charlie always had Science Diet when we took him in. Charlie got his name for ‘throwing his voice growl’ that made dogs leave him alone.
Our B&W cat Charlie was surviving eating dog food in our neighborhood. We took him in & he never was allowed out. Unfortunately eating dog food as a very young kitten shortened his life span.
I learned how to play bagpipes. However my ‘Amazing Grace’ sounded like a moose in distress during rutting season, & made the dog howl! Traded in the pipes for another banjo. Enjoyed hearing Eddy Peabody at a variety show in Kansas City Mo.in 1969. Found out the Eddy Peabody also played the bagpipes from the piper clubthat helped me get started. Still have a small practice set.
