One student, not in my section, turned in a term paper with the phrase “Insert student name here” at the top of every page.

There’s a lot more to to teaching than grading papers. When I was a lab Teaching Assistant, grading the lab reports wasn’t much fun. But the “light bulb” moments – when you literally could see the student “got” the concept I was teaching – made up for it.
