   Long ago, and far away as it were, we adopted a black Lab puppy. My daughter wanted to help pick her out, but had to spend the weekend with her mom, so I told my daughter she could name the puppy. When we sat the puppy on my daughter’s lap Sunday evening, she instantly said, “Her name is Oreo.” My reply was (because this was a coal black Labrador Retriever puppy), “Okay, but why ‘Oreo’?” To which my daughter answered, “Because she’s black on the outside, but sweet on the inside.” My daughter nailed that dog’s personality instantly!

   I use our remaining stock of COVID masks and wrap around protective eye wear when I go outside. I look ridiculous, but it reduces the irritation of my allergies.

    I’ve had dessert nachos, made with cinnamon sugar coated flour tortilla chips, fresh fruits, and whipped cream, so there should be a way to make a dessert pizza. It would need a sweet bread crust (crispy or like shortbread), crème Angleis (or ice cream spread thin on the crust), fresh fruit, and whipping cream.
