I used to skateboard as a kid, back when urethane wheels were a new thing and we just slalomed down a hill and walked back up to do it again. Where I live now, I’m on a series of hills with a wide road in a quiet development: perfect! I’m so fat, though, that I’d kick out on every turn if I could roll at all. OTOH, more padding for the falls.
I feel Monty’s pain with the glasses. I wear my distance glasses to see the TV, and then I can’t read my iPhone I use for the remote. You should see me trying to use the camera on my phone.
Yeah, yeah, tap water— but it’s filtered. Reduced to just water, all the miscellany taken out, which actually is kinda bland, so a few minerals are added back in for flavor. Like what you get from spring water naturally.
I was at the Book Barn in Niantic CT, getting some couch time. Every once in a while I would pet the cat leaning against me, eliciting purrs, but I didn’t want the little black cat in the corner to feel neglected, so I’d give her a pat, too. Finally she swatted me: Quit waking me up!
We have a grill, and we have patio furniture, but we never put the two together; my wife flees at the least flea. So I grill and bring the food in and she eats while watching TV.
