   On Ted: he is often offensive, but often insightful too. As with most of his comics, while this is clearly hyperbole (and offensive), we have paid attention and a discussion has ensued. Even when I disagree with Rall (and/or am offended by him) I read this comic daily.

   On the comparison to Hitler: over the last decade (and to some extent before) many voters and our government (actual actions and votes, not rhetoric) have trended towards a small but strong central government, with power concentrated in the executive, in support of business, with a large military and police force and religious underpinnings. This is very similar to the platform that Hitler ran on in the 30’s (he was elected…) and within the parallel context of this comic is surprisingly accurate.

   I believe you are all missing the point. This comic is not about what Romney has done, rather it is about what the “Anything-But-Mitt Republicans” are suggesting he has done… repeatedly.

   Remember the Exxon Valdez? Exxon’s stock was trading at around $10 per share back then. Since then it has split twice and is currently trading over $60 per Share (it peaked around $95 in 07-08).

   In 10 years, when this is a distant memory to everyone except those still trying to recover and save what’s left of the eco system on the gulf coast, BP will be just fine.

   Sigh.

   Harley, you aren’t getting it. “Jihad’R’Us” is a US company based in Deleware, it just has a foreign owner (kind of like CITGO….).
